Mindy Lubber is the CEO and President of the sustainability nonprofit Ceres. She has led Ceres since 2003, growing its powerful networks significantly in size and influence. On Point has been honored for best news documentary with the nation- al Gracie Award from Alliance for Women in Media (2022), a regional Edward R. Murrow award (2022) and a national Edward R. Murrow award (2021). Radio Boston has been frequently recognized for journalistic excellence, including a regional Edward R. Murrow award, best large market talk show award from the Associated Press of New England, and for three consecutive years, the national Public Radio News Directors Inc. (PRNDI) top prize for large market talk shows. The Asian American Journalists Association awarded Chakrabarti and her team the national ex- cellence in radio/audio award. She has won awards for individual reporting from both the Associated Press and the Radio Television News Directors Association. A former fellow at the Metcalf Institute for Environmental Reporting, Chakrabarti holds bachelor’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Oregon State University (summa cum laude), as well as a master’s degree in environmental science and risk management from Harvard University, and an MBA with honors from Boston University.

She has also received the Climate Visionary Award from the Earth Day Network, William K. Reilly Award for Environmental Leadership from American University, and the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship from the Skoll Foundation. Prior to Ceres, Lubber served as a Regional Administrator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under former President Bill Clinton. She also founded Green Century Capital Management and served as the director of the Massachusetts Public Interest Research Group (MASSPIRG). She resides in Brookline, Mass., with her husband Norman Stein. She has two children, Abe and Jessie.
